What to do
Mollymook – where the beach is just the beginning.
Whether you have 2 hours, 2 days or 2 weeks – there’s an experience for you to enjoy, a place for you to explore, and an opportunity to make memories.
The sweeping two kilometres of sand at Mollymook Beach provides ample room for surfers, swimmers and fishers to each occupy their own patch, and it is patrolled seasonally. Keep your eyes peeled and you may spot the pod of resident bottlenose dolphins that regularly frolic in the surf along with whales during migration seasons.
Secreted on Mollymook Headland is The Bogey Hole – a naturally sheltered tidal rock pool that is very shallow at low tide, making it ideal for families with young children.
Mollymook also boasts two golf courses – the 9-hole beachside course with amazing views and the 18-hole Hilltop Championship Course (off Maisie Williams Drive).
North of Mollymook is Narrawallee with its own beach, inlet and reserve – popular for picnics.
Set slightly inland, the historic township of Milton and its rural setting provide boutique shopping, art galleries, antiques, cafes and coffee along with live theatre. A stepping stone from which to explore Morton National Park…. or drive to places like Pigeon House Mountain for spectacular views (climbing Pigeon House isn’t for the faint-hearted!)
Sitting on its famous harbour is Ulladulla – the area’s commercial and retail centre. The harbour is the focal point of the local fishing industry where you can sample the fare fresh from the trawlers. Visit Ulladulla for shopping, banks, real estate agents, Funland and Cinema.
Foodie trails, art and culture, walking adventures, waterways and surf breaks ….. Mollymook, Milton and Ulladulla – they might be our backyard, but they’re yours to share!
